All landlords are required by law to obtain and make available a copy of the EPC to prospective tenants. The report gives your property a rating between A and G. "A" Rated properties have the lowest running costs and "G" the highest. The calculation is made using the characteristics of the home which include, but are not limited to: the age of property, heating system, heating controls, insulation, glazing and lighting.
