We know being a Landlord can be stressful with an ever increasing level of new regulations and safety requirements, along with the pressure of organising repairs and inspections.
An Energy Performance Certificate, also known as an EPC, is a certificate that shows how energy-efficient a property is.
The certificate is in place to show prospective tenants the estimated energy costs for a property.
J R Hopper will only retained this deposit if a prospective tenant decides not to go ahead with the tenancy, or does not take reasonable steps to enter into the tenancy by the agreed date.
This will cover damages and defaults by the tenant as detailed in the AST during the tenancy.
Your landlord or agent must protect your deposit with an authorised scheme if you have an assured shorthold tenancy.
J R Hopper use the Deposit Protection Service.
The Tenant will be charged 3% interest per day from the Rent Due date, until paid the rent is paid in full.
