The Letting Line
The Letting Line is a specialist letting and property management agent serving Enfield, Barnet, Potters Bar, Brookmans Park and surrounding areas. Established in 1997, The Letting Line is owned and operated by Atkinsons Residential and we are qualified ARLA & NAEA agents. You can search for properties to let in Enfield, EN1, EN2, Barnet EN4, Barnet EN5, Potters Bar EN6, Cuffley EN6, Brookmans Park AL7, Palmers Green N13, Winchmore Hill N21, Southgate N14, Oakwood N14, Goffs Oak EN7 & Cheshunt EN7 & EN8.

We offer three levels of service, Letting Only, Letting & Rent Collection and Letting & Management. We know landlords need assistance in managing their rental property, satisfying tenants, and making the most of the rental market opportunities. There is a huge level of demand for rental accommodation across London, and surrounding areas, these days.

Given the demand for rental property, it is natural if you are looking to enter the rental market as a landlord. It makes a lot of sense for landlords and property investors to snap up homes and then let them out.
Services
The Letting Line is the residential letting and management wing of Atkinsons Residential.
Atkinsons have been agents in Enfield since 1968, helping many generations move home nearly four decades.
The Letting Line was established in 1997 to bring a fresh approach to the letting market.
We strive to provide simply the best, most attentive and pro-active service around.
We aim to keep things simple, taking time to explain procedures in full, without baffling you with technical jargon.
Customer Service is as important to us as it is to you.
Here you can log in or sign up to the members area of our website.
Once logged in you can amend your personal details, add/amend/delete email alerts and access your saved properties.
New property alerts are sent to your requested email address at your selected frequency once we publish a new property or a price change takes place.
In fact only about 20% of our applicants actually make it through our strict referencing procedure which includes checking the applicants' credit and work history, salary and any references from any previous landlords before being approved.
We do not deal with housing associations, council tenants or tenants receiving housing benefit.
We also encourage you to meet the tenants, so you can verify you're happy with the people we've found.
If, for any reason, you would prefer us to keep looking, we will politely decline the tenants and continue marketing your property.
We insist that all rents are paid by standing order into our dedicated Client Account.
As soon as the funds have cleared, we send you an electronic BACS payment and email you a monthly statement.
Should a payment not be received from a tenant, we will immediately get in touch with them to arrange payment over the phone.
Should we still be unable to recover any arrears, we will make a claim on the Rent Guarantee Plan on your behalf, keeping you in touch every step of the way.
We carry out regular inspections to make sure the property is being looked after properly, with our thorough 50-point checklist.
Unless you have specific requirements for a shorter let, we generally recommend a twelve month contract.
We can, if requested, include a landlord's break-clause allowing you to serve notice of a termination anytime after six months, with two months' notice, but in doing so, we need to also insert a break clause for the Tenants.
However, if your property is available for longer than a year, it would be preferable to have the same tenants there for a longer period, ensuring a continuity of rent, lower fees for you and usually more reliable and careful tenants.
